The Charity Commission is ending its more flexible approach to holding virtual meetings from 21 April 2022. The flexibility has allowed charities to hold electronic and hybrid meetings during the pandemic even if this was outside of their governing documents, as well as cancel or postpone required meetings such as AGMs.
Charities should consider amending their
governing documents if they don’t permit meetings to be held in the way they
