(ROUNDTABLE) Charities SORP 2026: Key changes and practical implications for charities
12:00 – 14:00 Quilter Cheviot, 2nd Floor, Toronto Square, City Square, Leeds, LS1 2HJ Register

The introduction of Charities SORP 2026 brings important changes for charities, with implications for financial reporting, trustee responsibilities and stakeholder communications.

Join us for a charity roundtable, where we are delighted to be joined by Laura Masheder, Head of Charities and Not for Profit at BHP, who will provide a practical overview of the key changes, what they mean for charities of different sizes, and the areas organisations should be focusing on to ensure they remain compliant and well prepared.

We will also explore wider regulatory and reporting developments, including the changes to charity accounting thresholds coming into effect from September 2026, and consider what these developments may mean for the sector in the years ahead.

Attendees will gain an understanding of the:

 • emerging requirements

 • potential challenges of implementation, and

• key questions trustees and finance teams should be discussing ahead of adoption.

This is a complimentary event. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

When confirming your attendance, kindly let us know if you have any allergies, dietary requirements or accessibility needs.
