Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Smith & Williamson (S&W) London Charity Conference will be held as a virtual event this year. Our conference will be held as two webinars taking place on 24 September 2020. The first webinar will be held from 9.30am - 10.30am with a 15 minute break followed by the second webinar which will be held from 10.45am - 11.45am.
We are delighted to welcome Rod Schwartz, CEO and Founder of ClearlySo who will discuss how charities can turn to the private sector to secure impact investment and Jayne Adams, Charities Partner at McCarthy Denning who will talk about the legal and governance issues raised by COVID-19 and what to do next. There will also be some familiar faces from S&W, Brendan Weekes will provide advice on how charities can spot and respond to fraud and Lucy Ward and Aimee Roche will explain how stewardship and engagement is an essential part of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
The conference is complimentary and will appeal to trustees and senior executives from charities.
