Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Smith & Williamson Birmingham Charity Conference will be held as a virtual event this year. Our conference will be held as two webinars taking place on 11 March 2021. The first webinar will be held from 9.30am - 10.35am with a 15 minute break followed by the second webinar which will be held from 10.50am - 11.40am.
We are delighted to welcome Steve Baylis, from the Archdiocese of Birmingham who will share his insights into the challenges that face many charities in terms of fundraising, many of which were evolving prior to 2020 but have been highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We also welcome James Lloyd, from Mayfair Capital Limited to discuss how property has become an integral part of most portfolios and how this can be achieved via PITCH, a successful specialist charity vehicle. There will also be some familiar faces from S&W: Daniel Casali our investment strategist will guide you through the myriad of investment options for 2021 and beyond, and Luke Hunter will address the current debate over "growth vs value" and how this may affect our investment approach over the short and long term.
