 The session aims to assist delegates to develop a solid foundation in understanding the role of the charity trustee, equipping and empowering individuals to succeed in their roles as trustees

The sessions will cover:

• The legal and regulatory framework in which charities operate
• Key duties of charity trustees
• Liability of charity trustees
• Key governance areas including: accountability, strategy, risk and risk management, mitigation and management of conflicts of interest / duty

You will have the opportunity to network, ask questions and share your experiences with other delegates.

• Individuals who are considering becoming a charity trustee or who have recently been appointed trustee without prior experience within this role.
