Since Donald Trump began his second US presidential term on 20 January 2025, market conditions have become increasingly uncertain. With rising trade tariffs, a shifting geopolitical landscape, and the seeming abandonment of the fight on climate change, we will examine what these developments could mean for the world economy and for charity investors. 

Ben Murray, Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot, will discuss:

SORP update:

Finegan Gibson’s Audit Manager, Courtney Mills, will outline the key changes in the revised Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP). This session will provide trustees with a clear overview of the implications and practical considerations arising from the updated standards.
