We are delighted to invite you to the latest webinar in our Charity Expert Series, where we will discuss the issues around under-representation of the BAME community, particularly in senior management roles within the charity sector. 

Principle 6 of the Charity Governance Code sets our clear guidelines on equality, diversity and inclusion. Stating ‘The board should have a clear, agreed and effective approach to supporting equality, diversity and inclusion throughout the organisation and in its own practice’. However, according to research conducted by the Charity Commission: only 8% of trustees working in the voluntary sector are from a BAME background compared with 14% of the UK population.
