Our multi-asset offering: In 2019 we launched our Charities Growth & Income (CGI) Fund, our flagship sustainable multi-asset fund, to address the desire for diversified and cost-effective long-term investments amongst UK Charities. Alongside our other two multi-asset CAIFs, BlackRock has over 15-years’ experience in managing multi-asset pooled funds for UK charities.
The CGI Fund: Similar to our other charity-specific funds, the CGI Fund has a long-term investment philosophy, which aims to target real growth in both capital and income in the long-term. The investment team employ BlackRock’s broad and deep investment platform to deliver strong risk-adjusted returns for our clients.
Sustainable Investing: We believe that incorporating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations into our investment process is important to both choose long-term sustainable companies and represent the ethical stance of many of our UK charities.
Value-for-money: We are focused on value-for-money for our charity investors and aim to keep the total cost of owning our funds low. We believe that our Annual Management Charges (AMC) are competitive, and we are transparent in the way in which we take fees.
