About Epworth

With roots dating back to 1960, Epworth is an investment manager dedicated to serving the needs of Churches and Charities. We are stewards of our investors’ money and carefully select investments using Christian ethical criteria. Epworth manages assets of around £1.1bn (31.03.2022) and is wholly owned by the Central Finance Board of the Methodist Church.

Our Philosophy

Christian ethics are a first principle matter for Epworth. All investments are undertaken using our Christian ethical approach. This is a positive process that is designed with two purposes in mind. Firstly, we look to meet your financial investment requirements. Secondly, and as importantly, we ensure that the companies in which you are invested through our Funds not only have attractive prospects, but operate in a way that benefits all stakeholders, including wider society.

We are transparent about our philosophy and how this links to investment practice. We publish ethical policy statements and background position papers (which can be found at: https://www.epworthinvestment.co.uk/ethical-investment/) on a range of key ethical issues.
